So here is the story of baby number two. On Saturday night, I started to have contractions at home and was sort of thinking I was going into false labor as I had the previous nights. Did not think anything of it until I started actually timing them and they were coming every 3 to 4 minutes. Woke Budge up from his deep sleep and told him it is time to go, got to the hospital and within an hour baby Colton entered the world. To my amazement, this one I did without any drugs. Not only was he a pound smaller than Parker, he came out with a good set of lungs and tons of hair. Budge was able to cut the cord this time around and by one in the morning on Sunday, September 12 we became a family of four. We had a room with an incredible view of Mount Shasta and the city lights. Parker came to visit us at the hospital. He is taking a great liking to his baby brother and was spoiled by all the present the baby gave him. When he first saw me he said "Mom, have another baby?" I replied, "No our friends and family will have more babies bud!" It has been such a help having grandparents around to take care of Parker and it is so nice to be home now.
