My Week Off!

I had this past week off from school and I had a wonderful time spending time with Parker and Budge. On Valentine's Day, we headed off to the Bay Area for an Italian feast with my Dad and Pam. My sister and stepbrother and their significant others joined us and it was so nice to be all together. We came back to Redding to pack up for our next adventure to Lake Almanor. We arrived there on Tuesday morning to a driveway that had not been plowed and the snow was coming down. Budge had to snowshoe most of our luggage in before the plow showed up. Parker went on his first sled ride up and down the driveway and saw the snow for the first time. Then this past weekend we went to Brayden's second birthday party. Parker loved the balloons and playing with all the toys. It was great to see Tiffany and Jason again. Now I am getting ready for the rainy week ahead. Budge heads out to Montreal on Wednesday night for Brian's bachelor party and my mom and sister are coming up this weekend to visit. I am so excited to see them. Have a fantastic last week of February. Where has the time gone!!

Crazy Weather

So not only is the state budget crazy in Californina, so is the weather. Yes, it has been 75 spring like weather forever. In fact, the flowers and trees are blooming. As I write this, it is snowing. SNOWING!! Our backyard is white. Also I spoke too soon about Parker sleeping through the night. Looks like he wants to practice crawling in the crib! Need to go and get some sleep of my own. Wish me luck tonight!

Sorry it has been so long!

Sorry for not blogging in along time. Life has been pretty crazy around here. We are putting our house up for sale sometime this month and it is a chore to go around and clean things up. It is amazing how much stuff you accumulate! Don't worry we are not moving far just into Grandma Linda's house for a year and then we will see where our lives take us.
As for Parker he is almost 8 months now. He continues to babble all the time with things like dada, moma, nana, tis etc. He has no idea what he talking about but loves to talk. Must take after his mom on that one! He is spending more time on his belly but no crawling yet. He is beginning to wave to people and is not so comfortable around people he does not know well. The tears pour out which is hard to watch. He is afraid of the vaccum now and sleeps through the night. The big news is he has all four of his top teeth and the two on his bottom.
