Oh, what a Christmas!!!

WARNING: This is a long post!
Our first Christmas story with Parker. It all started with a Christmas luncheon at Budge's office. He was the hit of the party staring at all the people and Karen's wonderful sparkly bracelets. That night we went over to Grandma Linda's for a Christmas with the Haedrich side of the family. We all were spoiled rotten and we thank you for all the awesome gifts. Here are some photos of that day.

Loved wrapping the presents with Mom.

Sitting with Grandpa at the office.

Karen, thank you for the blocks. He loved playing with them at the office party.

Getting excited to celebrate his first Christmas.

Opening stocking presents.

What a cutie!

Christmas Eve we headed down to the Bay Area to spend Christmas with my side of the family. We had so much fun with Grandma Mady, Melissa, Dan, Ashley and Kenny on Christmas Eve. Thanks for having us over to celebrate! Parker was quite the party man this night.

Being Santa!

Hanging with Aunt Ashley!

Loved this toy!

Loved the aquarium!

Wrapping paper was his favorite part of the presents!

He hung out on the pool table for awhile and had so much fun with the 10 ball.

Now for Christmas Day. We enjoyed it with my dad's side of the family along with my sister and step brother.

This picture cracked me up.

Liked watching dad play Rockband.

Hanging out with Shelby, Tim's niece!

Thanks to everyone who made Parker's first Christmas a special one. He enjoyed every minute and it was magical to watch.

First Presents of Christmas!

This weekend, Grandpa Bill, had a Christmas party at his house. It was wonderful to see everyone and the food was amazing. Parker was quite the party man. On Saturday, we went over to Grandma Linda's and opened gifts with Frank. Check out the fabulous fire truck Frank got Parker. He loves it and pretty soon he will be having fun cruising around on it.

Ready to go to the party!

I want more food please!

Out to dinner!

Trying to ring the bell!

Parker has been eating an array of foods these days which leaves his diapers extremely smelly. His favorite thing to do is hang out naked. Couldn't resist this photo! He enjoys clapping, grabs for anything in front of him and babbling all the time. He still is a pretty mellow baby! We can't wait for Christmas!

6 Month Update and Lazy Weekend!

Hanging under the tree!

I forgot to update all of you on Parker's stats from his 6 month check up:

Height : 29 inches
Weight: 22 pounds 14 oz.
He is in the 97th percentile for everything. The doctor said he is doing great. I have to take him for his shots tomorrow because he had a bit of a cold last week.

Well, this weekend was pretty lazy for us. Friday night hung around the house, Saturday went to game night at a friends and yesterday just baked and watched the snow. Yes, snow. It is rainy, snowy and cold up here and the weather forecaster says it will be like this for the rest of the week. Here are some photos from our lazy weekend.

Oh yeah, some great Christmas news is that our friends Holly and Kyle, who have been trying to become parents for the past three years, adopted a baby girl, Bryn Pauline, this past Friday. We are so excited for them, as are so many people who know them and know what amazing parents they are going to be!!!

I do not know what the expression is on his face but how cute are the UGG boots!!!

Love the shirt!

I know it is freezing outside, but he loves to cuddle with his soft blanket!

He loves the train at Grandma Linda's. Thanks for another great dinner!

Snow pictures. I couldn't get any great ones but it did snow!

Well, the snow has just started to fall.  I am trying to get some photos with Parker to upload.  Not sticking yet.  Oh the wonderful, winter days ahead.

Sitting in his chair!

We received this awesome chair from our friend Stephanie for Parker to sit in. Last night, Budge put him in it and he loved it. He moved his feet all around and held on to the sides. Sorry about just the diaper, we were just about to put him in the bath. It's Wednesday which means Parker is officially 6 months old today.

Holiday Cheer!

This weekend we headed down to Sacramento for Frank's Christmas party. We had a great time singing carols and enjoyed getting into the holiday spirit. Parker was the hit of the party. He listened to the piano play and was passed around the whole night. Amazingly he did not cry. We go in on Wed. for his shots. Poor thing! Here are some photos!

Parker must take after his mom. He had to rest his eyes before most of the people got there.

Sitting with Grandma!

Great Aunt Kathy always likes her chance to hold Parker!

Literally Parker sat on this man, Dale's lap the whole evening.

Listening to Luke play the guitar!

Hanging out at Whole Foods. Thanks for lunch, Grammie and Poppy!

Here is our Christmas tree. Parker loves to lay under it and grab for the lights. Next year will be a whole other story.

I left to run some errands and Budge needed to put Parker somewhere. Laundry basket was a great idea!

Parker loves KD our dog. She has not been on our blog yet so here is her introduction. Parker giggles when she licks his feet and head. It is pretty cute!
