Great News!!

I found out that I have my job back for next year. Now I am frantically trying to get in the "back-to-school" mode. We still have a couple weeks of summer left and I am trying to get everything together as quick as I can so I can enjoy the rest of my time with the little man. Parker is trying to stand on his own. He cruises around the windowsills, walls and coffee table pretty well. He consistently tries to talk and looks at us like why do we not understand what he is saying. Before school was let out, the daycare ladies asked me to work on the sign language for please. Parker signs please all the time. I am going to try to get a video of it and post it. He makes Budge and me smile each and everyday. I could not be happier. This weekend we are staying home and I could not be more excited about it. The upcoming three weekends we are attending weddings in Lake Tahoe, Pleasanton and Portland, OR! Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Another Fun Filled Summer Weekend!

Our summer weekends have been crazy. This next weekend will be our first weekend home since summer started and our last for awhile since we have three more weddings to attend in August. Bring on more fun times!! On Friday night, Doug, Andrea's husband, stopped through on his way up to Seattle. They are moving up there from LA with baby Olivia. We had a great time enjoying some yummy bbq and taking pictures with his amazing camera. We headed down to the Bay Area on Saturday morning for Tim and Tania's pool party baby shower. Parker absolutely loves the water and showing off for everyone. He was a great kid this weekend. Have a fabulous week ahead and enjoy the pictures.

Meeting Olivia!

This past weekend we flew down to L.A. for a wedding and to meet the newest addition to the Perry family. Parker stayed home with Grandma Linda and had an awesome time swimming along with other adventures. Thanks Linda for watching the little man. He misses you already. Other than that Parker and I spend most of our days going on a run in the morning, running errands, practice walking and playing with toys. Basically making messes everywhere all while trying to settle into a new house. Hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying the wonderful summer days.

Meet Olivia. She is beautiful! I have to admit I do not remember P being this small. It is crazy how fast time flies. Enjoys every minute Doug and Andrea!!

So P's newest favorite toys are these tiny cars that Grandma Linda bought at the neighbor;s garage sale. He even makes the noises to go with them.

VVVRRROOOOMMM!

Loves listening to the piano.

Watching Dad outside after the bath. I could not resist this picture. He loves to peek outside and is pretty good at standing.

Getting into everything!!

I have truly enjoyed my summer thus far. It has been such an amazing experience to be just mom for awhile. Parker is into everything these days. It seems that every time I turn around there is a new mess he has created. I wait until the end of the day to pick it all up. Guess there will not be a clean house with a little one around! He loves to get into the cabinets, boxes, Ziploc bags and suitcases. He can pull himself up and look outside. He is not walking yet but I have a feeling that is coming shortly. He is a boy on a mission. This past weekend Budge stayed home with P while I went down to San Francisco for my sister's bachelorette party. We had a blast and cannot wait for the wedding. This weekend LA to see Andrea and Olivia and celebrate Jared's wedding. Have a wonderful week!!!

Loves this drawer!

Fourth of July 2009

I hope everyone enjoyed their fourth of July holiday. We were in the bay area for a 70th birthday party and an engagement party. It was a great long weekend. We stayed at Tim and Tania's new house which is super cute. She is getting the place ready for their upcoming baby in September. We saw a bunch of old college friends and it was wonderful to have the chance to catch up. Have a fantastic week ahead.

Here is a picture of Parker's new room. It is still not done, but wanted to let people see our beach theme room for him. Will update when completed.

Friday we went to Fisherman's Wharf with the Paino's. It was alot of fun.

Ate at Bubba Gump's and had the best seat in the house. P loved looking at the boats or as he says "bots".

Karen and her two cutie pies.

Only family pic from the weekend and not a very good one. Oh well.

Boating on Tim's lagoon.

Not too sure if he liked it.

We spent Saturday afternoon at Tim's hanging out and Parker figured out the cooler.

Must take after his father.

Enjoying some watermelon.

At the engagement party, this little girl, Sienna, loved to kiss P on the cheek. I am mad I did not get a better picture. It was pretty adorable.

After awhile he was not into it anymore.

Just a happy kid with rocks and a box.
