Camping at Patrick's Point!

First of all, I apologize for not blogging in awhile. Life is crazy! No excuses, I will be better. Enjoy our camping story! We decided to head over to the coast and take Parker camping this weekend. Uncle Chris and Annie went along with us. We warned them that it might not be the camping trip they expected with a crying baby. I had no idea what to expect and only heard everyone's horror stories about camping with babies. I have to let you all know that he did GREAT! It was so much fun. We arrived Friday night at around 9:30. Parker was already asleep so it made setting up camp easy.

Waking up on Saturday morning! Isn't he the cutest?

Needed to go for a morning stroll to let Chris and Annie sleep alittle longer. Our baby alarm wakes up at about 6 each morning.

Enjoying the stroller ride.

Back at camp trying to stay quiet. Check out the deluxe tent Budge bought as a surprise. To think at one time he thought tents were overrated!

Hanging out with Uncle Chris and Annie!

Look at this elk!

Family photo op with the elk.

We went up around this bend and saw this herd of elk. Then we were back on the road to head up to Fern Canyon.

All of us in Fern Canyon. This brought back memories as the last time I was there was the weekend Budge proposed to me.

Hanging out in Fern Canyon!

Having fun!

Budge got some good photos just hiking around!

Goofing around on the beach outside of Fern Canyon.

After Fern Canyon, we headed back to camp at Patrick's Point and hiked down to Agate Beach. I didn't find any agates but there were a ton of cool rocks.

Having a good time with Chris and in the next instant...

Parker got really upset. You have to love this picture!

After Agate Beach, we hiked the rim trail around Patrick's Point. This rock is called Wedding Rock.

At the end of the trail, there were tide pools. We saw lots of fun ocean creatures but were not wearing the right shoes.

Checking out the sea star!

The next morning. I could not resist this picture.

We packed up camp and headed down the coast to Moonstone Beach (Grandma Linda's old stomping grounds). Parker was so funny when his feet touched the sand. Look at those thunder thighs.

Playing in the sand. We headed home after the beach trip. Thanks Chris and Annie for all your help. Looking forward to the next trip.
